Complete Covid-19 Vaccination
The Ministry of Health has taken the decision
to utilize the remaining COVID-19 Sinopharm vaccine to strengthen Covid-19
vaccination. Covid-19 vaccination is currently
available at any Medical Officer of Health (MOH) office and Government
Hospitals in Sri Lanka.
Remaining Covid-19 Sinopharm vaccines are
given as follows;
v For
anyone above 18 years of age including pregnant mothers- to complete the
primary vaccination (1st & 2nd doses)
v For
anyone above 18 years of age including pregnant mothers who has already taken
one dose of any COvid-19 vaccine type- To complete the primary vaccination (1st
& 2nd doses)
v Provide
1st booster dose for anyone above 20 years of age who has completed
2 doses from any Covid-19 vaccine type & where the time elapsed is 3 months
from the 2nd dose, irrespective of the comorbidity status,
pregnancy, or lactation.
v Provide
the 2nd booster dose for anyone above 20 years of age who has
completed 3 doses from any Covid-19 vaccine type & where the time elapsed
is 3 months from 3rd dose.
